FREELING FOOTBALL CLUB – COVID-19 UPDATE 17th March 2020
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY there will be NO group training held for any team in the foreseeable future.
We are awaiting further advice from the BLGFA Board as till when the season will commence.
The Freeling Football Club has been closely monitoring the situation over the last 10 days and unfortunately this is the decision that we need to take for the safety of all people involved with the club.
Any club sanctioned events including training, trial games, Auskick, Social Functions and the Home and away Season are suspended until further notification from the relevant bodies.
As the virus is dynamic and the situation continually changes we will do our best to keep all players, volunteers, members and the broader football community updated.
In the meantime, if you travel overseas any time this year or come down with any symptoms similar to CONVID-19, please inform the Club President immediately. Your health along with that of the football club community is off paramount importance at present.
As a football club we have made a good start to the year, we would encourage that all players train privately in preparation for the season.
